Susan O’Neal
Chief Ethics & Compliance Officer
Susan provides strategic direction to Organon’s leadership on ethics and compliance issues and works together with her team to ensure that the company’s compliance program is effective and efficient in identifying, preventing, detecting, and correcting noncompliance with applicable laws and regulations.
Susan has extensive global experience leading teams focused on ethics, integrity, and healthcare compliance, including her previous role leading the Human Resources organization for the Latin America, Middle East, Russia and Africa (LAMERA) region. Previously, she held multiple roles at MSD in Legal, Compliance, Investigations and Strategic Alliances, supporting the Eastern Europe, Middle East and Africa (EEMEA) region, and served as the Spin Lead for EEMEA. Before joining MSD, she worked at Amgen in Human Resources, overseeing HR Compliance and Employee Relations, and serving as the Global Ombudsman. She started her career working in private practice in law firms specializing in business and employment litigation.
Susan has a B.A. in political science from University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA) and a J.D. from Whitter Law School in Los Angeles, California.
