Simon Holland
Global Women’s Health Commercial Lead
Simon is focused on maximizing the full potential of Organon’s existing women’s health portfolio of products through both commercial and clinical development activities, while pursuing business development opportunities for the company to expand into new therapeutic areas that advance the health of women. He serves as a key member of Organon’s ESG Council and is the executive sponsor of the Her Promise Access Initiative, part of a multi-agency, global effort to expand contraception education, information and availability to some of the world’s lowest-income countries.
He brings deep experience in both women’s health and commercial operations from Merck, known as MSD outside the U.S., with roles of increasing responsibility across various regions and functions. Simon served as global commercial leader for women’s health, biosimilars and diversified brands, where he created commercial strategies to drive organic and inorganic growth for the divisions. As executive director, he led Merck’s contraception global franchise. He also served as the regional marketing lead for Latin America, and as marketing director for diabetes, chronic disease management, and primary care in Australia.
Simon has a Master’s degree in commerce from Lincoln University, New Zealand.
